How to control the Desktop Scale (iOS RD Client)?

With version 10.3.6 (5090) the Display Resolution can be set to one of the preset values.

When selecting 2720 x 2039 (Retina), the Desktop Scale is automatically increased/selected I guess to something like 175%? When selecting other resolutions, the Desktop Scale is set to the default (100%).

Can the app be updated (please) such that it will be more flexible for setting a custom Display Resolution and Desktop Scale? Maybe this can also be done per PC and not globally?
