Virtual Network Gateway Basic SKU and Diagnostic settings

I've setup a VNET GW with the basic SKU.

I can configure the diagnostic settings  to store on a Log Analytics workspace.

It seems to be able to upload metrics data fine, but for the other Logs type I select, it doesn't appear nothing on the Log Analytics workspace. It seems to work with a Standard SKU.

 

Anyone aware if this is a limitation?
I cannot find anything on the documentation, and I got warnings when I configure the diagnostics settings.

      I've read that generic one and others.
      The question is specifically with the Virtual network gateway:
      https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/vpn-gateway/troubleshoot-vpn-with-azure-diagnostics
      If you follow it: (1) a Standard SKU will log the data, but a Basic SKU seems not to write nothing on the log analytics workspace.

      If there is such a limitation is not documented on MS but in that case we cannot troubleshoot connectivity issues with Basic (?)
