We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 3/31, 07:47 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 3/31, 06:45 UTC and that during the 1 hour and 2 minutes that it took to resolve the issue some of the customers with Application Insights components in Norway East region may have experienced intermittent data gaps and incorrect alert activation.
  • Root Cause: We determined that one of our backend service became unhealthy. This resulted in the dependent service to be unavailable.
  • Incident Timeline: 1 Hour & 2 minutes - 3/31, 06:45 UTC through 3/31, 07:47 UTC
We understand that customers rely on Application Insights as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
