Our logs show the incident started on 01/21, 08:00 UTC and that during the 4 hours & 15 minutes that it took to resolve the issue, some customers using Application Insights in West Central US may have experienced data latency and misfired alerts.
Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue with backend dependency service.
