On-Premise Mongo DB to Azure VM Mongo DB Migration.

Hello Guys, 

 

I had a question that can we set up sync or replication between my on-prem MongoDB server and my azure VM MongoDB server.

    Hi you cannot do that simply because there is no Mongo DB instance in Azure . When you migrate in fact you're moving data from Mongo DB to Azure Cosmos DB .Azure Cosmos DB is a fully managed NoSQL database service so you cannot have the same scenario you could have with virtual machines which are Iaas services .
