Azure Migrate Appliance Error

Hi,

 

I was setting up the Azure migration appliance and had this error. I have whitelisted all the URLs in this link (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/migrate-appliance#url-access as described including *windows.net.

I will appreciate it if anyone can help me resolve this issue.

    Hi All,

    It was actually a product issue so Microsoft solved it.

      kwesiMoro I had the same issue a few weeks ago.  Was trouble shooting it and it fixed itself. Microsoft mentioned it was on their end but they never said how to fix it.  I have the issue again today.  Not sure who to reach out to?

        Try the following

        In the Azure Migrate Appliance, go to the Registry Editor.

        In this registry location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\AzureAppliance

        Check if there is an AutoUpdate file, if not then you need to create a DWORD file and set the registry key to 1.

         

        Then go to Task Scheduler > Migration > AutoUpgrade and run the AutoUpgrade task from there, it should install the latest bits.

         

        After, refresh the Appliance Configuration Manager page in the browser
