SYSTEM CENTER CAPACITY PLANNER (SCCP) END-OF-LIFE ANNOUNCEMENT

System Center Capacity Planner Has Been DiscontinuedMicrosoft System Center Capacity Planner (SCCP) is formally being discontinued, effective immediately, as it no longer supports the current versions of Microsoft applications it was designed for.  The most recent version, SCCP 2007, is no longer available.   No new versions of this standalone capacity planning tool, as well as any new or updated application capacity planning models, will be developed.

As an alternative to SCCP 2007 for capacity planning, we encourage you to make use of the following resources:

We recognize that capacity planning/management is an important IT systems management discipline.  We will continue to evaluate how capacity planning/management functionality fits best in our System Center portfolio.
