Office 365 deployment tool for network assemsent

Hi Experts,

One of our customer raised the below query:

 

Office 365 Network Performance Assessment Tools and Process
We know that there have been several Office 365 Network Performance Assessment tools used.

 

Would you be able to investigate and confirm what process was followed to produce the report and also what tools, metrics, parameters and actions etc were used to produce the report?

 

In the past we have used several tools, the FTC network performance tool (http://em1-fasttrack.cloudapp.net/o365nwtest) – this no longer works – has it been replaced?

The Priasoft tool for latency - , https://www.httpwatch.com/download/ (this is mentioned in the attached document), https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53885 – Skype for Business Network Analysis tool, Exchange Online bandwidth calculator and https://myadvisor.fasttrack.microsoft.com/CloudVoice/Offers/?pageState=NetworkReadiness, https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/skypehybridguy/2017/08/11/assess-your-networks-readiness-for-skype-for-business-online/, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=19011
for example.

This is required for several clients to be able to accelerate their deployment to Office 365 and Azure and to produce a repeatable process so we have access to all the relevant tools and processes.

Please could I have a reply on this today so we can progress efficiently and promptly?

 

Any pointers would be of great help.

    In the past we have used several tools, the FTC network performance tool (http://em1-fasttrack.cloudapp.net/o365nwtest) – this no longer works – has it been replaced? 

    This looks like the successor, or at least a related tool, also on FastTrack - https://myadvisor.fasttrack.microsoft.com/CloudVoice/NetworkPlanner:

     

    https://myadvisor.fasttrack.microsoft.com/ was previously known as the Skype Operations Framework (SOF), which has associated guidance and resources including the Network Planner.

     

    Also, might be of use - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/prepare-teams as well as this - https://support.office.com/en-ie/article/network-planning-and-performance-tuning-for-office-365-e5f1228c-da3c-4654-bf16-d163daee8848.  Finally, an Ignite presentation - Learn about the Microsoft global network and best practices for optimizing Office 365.  Hope some of the above is of use.
