On September 25th, the first day of Ignite, we announced the evolution of Skype Operations Framework (SOF) into Practical Guidance for Cloud Voice. With that announcement, we started our journey of the alignment of SOF guidance and processes into FastTrack digital experience, in order to make the practical and operational guidance for Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business Online available under a single umbrella and to provide you with new ways of engaging with our practical guidance, including:
- MyAdvisor
- Network Planner
- Quality Champion
- New Microsoft Teams Guidance
- New guidance assets from partners
One of the core benefits of this evolution is that, from now on, we will be able to provide a common language across the practical guidance that we provide for all Microsoft 365 products, in addition to Skype for Business Online and Microsoft Teams.
To make it more aligned to FastTrack framework, the three main phases of SOF have been mapped to the phases in the FastTrack customer journey.
As part of this initiative, we have been working hard to update all the Practical Guidance for Voice assets. Today, we are excited to announce that we have completed this alignment process and all the assets have been updated to reflect Envision, Onboard and Drive Value phases of FastTrack framework.
