Stream Data Governance
Are there any plans to include Stream within the scope of the wider Office 365 Data Governance? Currently, I can't see a way to manage retention/disposal other than via using basic security controls. This was referenced as an idea last year (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Stream-Ideas/Video-Archival-and-Retention/idi-p/88901) but there are no notes against it. I can't see anything in the roadmap either. Maybe a question for the AMA at the end of the month?
We did just add Stream to the O365 Audit logs in the search/compliance center. For retention/eDiscovery and others we have more work to do and it's a bigger project.
