Microsoft Information Protection solutions have been getting a great reception from customers and partners alike. Due to this momentum, we are now seeing more solutions leveraging the classification, labeling, and protection of data within the Microsoft and Partner ecosystem. We continue to make significant investments in enabling partner integrations and I would like to share some of the new integrations developed by our partners to help you protect your sensitive data.

Check Point Software

Check Point Next Generation Firewall now integrates with Microsoft Information Protection solutions, such as Azure Information Protection, to enable new capabilities to prevent the accidental transmission of sensitive business data outside the perimeter. The integration not only works with Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint but also with non-Microsoft cloud-based enterprise file services, web-based email services, and more. For more information read the blog on Check Point Software’s website

SecuPi

SecuPi is a data centric privacy and compliance solution. SecuPi, allows organizations to obfuscate sensitive information from different structured data sources that are being surfaced via cloud-based SaaS application or  line of business applications. Ina typical scenario, customers have sensitive information stored in their database such as customer name, Government ID, etc. Through SecuPI’s administrative console, a security admin can set up policies that will only allow the right user to be able to see such sensitive content via their application, and if the user where to export the data from a cloud-based app, using SecuPI’s integration with Microsoft Information Protection solutions, the resulting Office file or PDF will be labeled in accordance to the sensitivity of the data – and protected accordingly.

Allure Security

Organizations need to be able detect and respond to data loss that results from various insider threats, stolen credentials, human error, accidental or inadvertent oversharing, etc. Allure Security enables  customers to leverage their classification and labeling taxonomy in conjunction with Allure Security’s data detection solution and report on files which may have been  accessed or downloaded which are against company policy. Their agentless technology tracks documents even after they have been downloaded, copied, or shared and applies a Microsoft Information Protection sensitivity label, and encrypts the file. Together our solutions facilitate secure data collaboration for the enterprise. For more information please look review their blog and check out their demo video.
