Teams - Inline Message Translation

Inline Translation is a great way for hospitals, pharmaceuticals and other organizations to bridge a communications gap with a simple and effective chat based translation service.

 

Inline Message Translation leverages Microsoft’s Translation Services:

You translate a message by clicking the three ellipses within a message and select Translate:

Enabling is done by the PowerShell cmdlet Set-CsTeamsMessagingPolicy:

The CsTeamsMessagingPolicy cmdlets enable administrators to control if a user is enabled to exchange messages. These also help determine the type of messages users can create and modify.

    In our tenant we didn't need to enable the Translation setting in Skype.  Our Teams clients already have the translation ability.
