Wish to be able to switch monitor quantity and resolution during a session

If I start a session with only one display connected, and then later add another, the session doesn't know that display is available. And vice versa, if I start with two and then disconnect one, the session doesn't know one disappeared.

Similarly, if I alter my mac resolution in the middle of a session, the session does not switch that new resolution.

Both of these situations require stopping and starting a new session.
