The only app that does not freezes pasting text from Windows App to Mac is TextEdit. Once is pasted there, you can copy from there and paste on the final app, a bit annoying but works.

I guess it is something related to the styles or metadata in the copied text, because plain text avoids it to freeze. Even VSCode freezes.
