Getting an Updating Remote Session Display message across the screen that won’t go away on my IPad Pro. Happens when putting the Remote app in the background and coming back. Also happens when changing from landscape to profile.

This is still a bug — appears to only happen when connecting to a remote Linux based machine.
Using iPad iOS 17.6.1
Using Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.6.0 (5471) downloaded right from Apple App Store
To replicate the issue:
- Create a connection to a remote Linux based machine within the Microsoft Remote Desktop app
- Once connected to the remote machine, swipe away from the Microsoft Remote Desktop app to the iOS Home Screen/another app.
- Then swipe back to/reopen the Microsoft Remote Desktop app
- This is when the message appears “Updating remote session display.” and it does not go away UNTIL you disconnect from the remote connection and reconnect.
- The machine will function/allow you to use the remote machine — but the message stays centered on the screen and does not go away until reconnect.
- This is when the message appears “Updating remote session display.” and it does not go away UNTIL you disconnect from the remote connection and reconnect.
This is a very repeatable process and issue.
Please reopen as a bug for development to fix.

same here with RD Client . I have been seeing this for at least three versions. I thought it was easy to fix.
