Stage Manager support for Microsoft Remote Desktop on iPad.
I want to suggest the implementation for resizable stage manager, so we can use the full resolution of the external display.

The new version 10.5.1 has completely broken the app when using an external monitor with iPad - I hope they roll back to the previous version as soon as possible.
The only thing missing with the previous version was the ability to full stretch all the way to, or select, full screen for the app on the external monitor. This was possible in some early beta releases of iPadOS16, but now seems is something for Microsoft to fix on the app side.
If a complete rollback to 10.5.0 isn’t possible then the broken features need a toggle off button in settings ASAP please - so that its possible to again use the app on either screen.

I agree Andrea197050, this is the worst implementation ever. This is not great for multitasking.

With last update when i open the IOS app with IPAD connected to an external monitor, is impossibile to open other windows simultaneously. The previous version was better. There is some program errors.

I use W365 on my iPad a lot, this is really needed now that we can have it on an external display.

Hi NetDD1050 , how do we merge the two threads? I had a look and couldn’t quite work it out.

Another voice here. Stage Manager has no fullscreen which is a shame as it can use entire screen real-estate v.s just mirroring iPad.

Please consider merge these two threads.
We could see the louder voice from customers.

Would like to echo this sentiment! Looking forward to an update where full-screen on a secondary monitor is available.

Couldn’t agree more. Office 365 on iOS is great, though lack of compatibility with Stage Manager is a hindrance. Know MSFT has a number of priorities and now, economic challenges/staffing hurdles. However, O365 compatibility with SM would be a major step forward and would likely generate a large number of users who work on PC and iPad interchangeably.
