Selection for which monitor to launch session
Setup: MacBook (laptop) with external monitor. "Displays have separate spaces" enabled in MacOS. Connection settings have "Start session in full screen" selected.
When launching the RDP session, the session launches on the monitor on which the cursor happens to be at the moment the connection is established. This results in an inconsistent and confusing behavior.
Example: I start the connection configured for my large 4K external monitor, enter my RDP password. If my mouse pointer happens to be on the MacBook laptop, the 4K session launches [incorrectly] in full screen on the MacBook.
Possible solutions: 1. A selection in Connection Manager, and a dynamic pop-up if the selected monitor is not available (Monitor is not available, would you like to Continue?) 2. Launch the session wherever the Connection Manager is. 3. Dynamic pop-up every time, with Remember this Setting checkbox.
