Remote Desktop Workspace on Mac - "Hide Remote Desktop" menu item doesn't hide the app

Seems to be an issue common to other MS products on Mac, I've previously found it with Edge.

The command dims the current window, but doesn't hide it

    Looks like this idea didn't get enough votes over the past months to be considered. We are closing this idea.

    Bit more info here - the "Hide Remote Desktop" does work but ONLY if the topmost window is the Connection Centre. It should work on any active RemoteApp window.
