I just started using the remote desktop app on my new iMac (m1) to access my virtual server and find that both the magic mouse and track pad scrolling within the server environment to be extremely slow and laggy...any way this can be corrected?

I saw a report of this over a year ago, and no action has been taken. Seems to be related to the polling rate of the mouse. Gaming-style mouse with high polling frequency (e.g., Razer Taipan, 1000Hz) shows extreme lag when dragging around windows within a Remote Desktop session, or performing other mouse operations. Old crusty mouse with 125Hz polling frequency shows no such slowdown.
