Remote Desktop for Mac Enables Camera without asking
Running macOS Ventura 13.3 and Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.8.1:
The camera is automatically activated when opening the application and logging into a remote computer. I removed security permissions for Remote Desktop in system preferences, yet the issue persists.
It isn't actually passing live video through to Zoom, but it's creepy as hell to have the light on your cameras show that your camera is active - when all you are doing is logging into a remote computer. I uninstalled Zoom, Teams isn't installed on the Remote Desktop, the issue persists however.
Has anyone found a way to resolve this?
