Remote Desktop Client for Mac, Error after updating to: 10.8.2

Hey gietal. The issue with RDP connections to legacy clients (e.g. XP, Vista, Server 2008 etc.) has returned with the Windows App 11.0 update (Was working perfectly fine in Remote Desktop 10.9.10 and tested working when reinstalling an older version).

I have emailed rdmacios with information :).

I confirm that with version 10.8.3 the problem has been solved for me as well. The connection to Server 2003 and 2008 now works.

rubenmederwelldevio can you email us at rdmacios@microsoft.com to work directly with us? we're unable to repro the issue connecting to Windows Server 2016 on our lab after the 10.8.3 update 

I sadly still get 0x4 when connecting to a Windows Server 2016. Even with the newly published 10.8.3 from the app store. 

I'm on Ventura 13.3.1 with a Apple M1 Pro

Another fix or beta would be highly appreciated.

Thanks - 10.8.3 beta fixed the issue for me connecting to Windows Server 2008.

I have tried the 10.8.3 Beta and it works fine for the server that failed on the 10.8.2 version.

This was to a Windows Server 2008 Standard machine.

Gets my thumbs up!

wrighta16 you can get the beta version from aka.ms/rdmacbeta

do note that the beta version install side-by-side with the Mac App Store version and doesn't share any data with each other. So you would have to re-add your desktops or workspaces. we'll push the hotfix to Mac App Store version once more users reporting the same issue validated the fix

Beta 10.8.3 (2095) is working for me!

I'm connecting to a Windows XP vm.
