Hello,
I am experiencing brief network outages that last under 1 second. I monitor my network activity with Activity Monitor, and these outages occur a few times every hour, with only a few network packets being sent or received. I also checked with other web applications and noticed these short network outages.
After these outages, AVD attempts to reconnect, which takes 5-6 seconds, and each time, my windows in AVD get resized. This happens several times an hour and affects my work with clients.
I don't experience these outages with other applications, such as Microsoft Teams meetings. I also monitored the AVD connection during a Teams call. I am not dropped from the Teams call, nor do I notice any loss of network, even when it's under 1 second.
Could you please treat this as a bug report? Is it possible to update AVD to not disconnect during very short network outages, similar to how other apps behave?
