With iPadOS 16 beta released, iPads with M1 chip are enabled with Stage Manager supporting external display. RD Client is one of the best apps I have used on iPad. Can’t wait to see this app taking the full advantage of the full-display support on external monitor!

Hi Devon9720 Zhao_03 maxspock nathanbivey e4ze23 and all those who have provided feedback for this feature, does the external monitor support in the client now support your needs? Or is there still functionality missing?
Thanks to all you RD Client Gamma testers. Those of us who rely on iPadOS RD Client to earn a living really appreciate your bravery.

It's an RD issue, which you could see as good or bad. Jump Desktop on iOS has done full screen at external monitor resolution flawlessly for years. Microsoft RD is unfortunately the only app allowed by my IT group, which is probably a reason why most people with this issue haven't just switched.
Trying the latest version of rd client (10.5.1) on iPad os 17 beta. The full screen on external monitor still not working. Is it rd or os related?

I have been using a Windows365 desktop through the RD Client for some time now and it is awesome, what would make it even more awesome would be full screen on an external monitor when I travel in to the office. It is the one thing the lets the whole experience down.
Come on Microsoft is it really that hard to make this happen?
