When connecting to a Windows 10 device from a MacOS 14.5 device, pressing the Option/Alt key on the Mac keyboard renders the MacOS Option-[Key] character in Windows. It does not trigger the Windows Alt-[Key] combination. For example, pressing Option-C in MacOS, which renders the cedilla character "รง" on the MacOS device, generates the same character on the remote Windows device. It does not trigger Alt-C.
