Please add the ability to add multiple monitor support for Chrome OS when accessing 365 Cloud PC's or AVD. This can be done via the android remote desktop app or a custom web app in Chrome OS. Xtralogic is an example of a Chrome OS app that has multiple monitor support for RDP sessions already.
Thank you

In the email I got about the new Windows App it's also mentioned that the GA version for Android should be released this month. Since it's still an Android version and not native an ChromeOS app I'm afraid there won't be support for multiple displays.
Other than the email I got, I can't find any blogpost or docs article mentioning the Android/ChromeOS version of Windows App.
Does anyone perhaps have more information on this version or it's release date?

Wow, a whole year has passed already! It’s quite astonishing that they haven’t implemented this support yet.
Perhaps the new “Windows App” that’s replacing the Microsoft Remote Desktop app will support it on Chromebooks? Only time will tell.
I have a hunch that there might have been a secret agreement between Xtralogic and Google that restricts multi monitor mode to Xtralogic’s app.

Microsoft, 1 year later from the last comment posted, I am in full agreement. We as IT Admins are trying to provide access to your OS services from multiple clients. It's been 4 years now since setting up users with cheap Chromebooks as RDP terminals and finding out about the lack of multi-monitor RDP support. This, despite the fact that ChromeOS itself has excellent multi-monitor support. It's LONG past time for Microsoft to update the ChromeOS RDP client and bring it to parity with the Windows client in this regard. I don't want to use a non-Microsoft RDP client on ChromeOS!

So far Xtralogic has a monopoly on Multi Monitor support, supposedly Desktop Manager supports it however it is not reliable at all. Why doesn't Microsoft Remote Desktop app support multiple monitors on Chromebook, blow's my mind (it's 2023 not 2003).

It has been more than a year since this post and ChromeOS still doesn't support multiple screen displays for AVD. What a shame. Now I have to replace all Chromebooks with Windows. Disappointing.
