I've got the same issue with three monitors. My laptop is left and I use it locally for Teams calls / video and when I select my center three for AVD, the new remote desktop connection puts AVD on my left three (including laptop) and makes monitor 4 my local.
I've got to uninstall the program, reboot and re-run it
