when the app is open in the menubar on the mac it shows a thumbnail of the windows window.
the thumbnail shows the app open like it's running. i clicked on it thinking it was running when it wasn't and the workstation was off. my recommendation is that the thumbnail show different states like workstation is off, it could even say it since there actually is no window preview available at that time.
