Microsoft Remote Desktop on macOS connected to my Windows laptop on this using Teams give a mic echo
Dear reader,
On my iMac I have installed the Microsoft Remote Desktop app. With it I connect to my work laptop and am trying to use Teams inside the Windows environment enabling my microphone and camera of the iMac.
Unfortunately I get problems when using the microphone in this setup. It generates an echo hearable to all the other participants of the meeting.
So now for Teams I have to look for an alternative which is annoying.
I have installed Team on the iMac natively but then still I get called in the Windows environment.
It would be very welcoming to see the microphone not having echo issues while using Teams from within Windows using the Remote Desktop app and then with the camera and microphone of the iMac.
I hope my description is clear, if not I am very much willing to try to explain further or help with analysing and for instance collecting logging if possible.
Can you help me find an expert who can help me with this?
Or can you guide me to someone who might know?
Regards,
Martijn
