Gestures for switching virtual desktop using a four-finger swipe of the touchpad, invoking App Expose using a four-finger upward swipe are disabled once the remote desktop session is opened, and sometimes I have to restart in order to get them working again.
This happens every time, I did not find any preferences that would allow me to circumvent the issue. For me, this is a major usability bug with Microsoft Remote Desktop software.
