Mac OS RDP Client UDP support

As of Version 10.8.1 (2048) it appears that Microsoft Remote Desktop client for Mac does not support UDP. This makes it significantly worse than the windows client.

Is there any plans for adding UDP support to the client?

I really don‘t get it. Microsofts macOS client lacks UDP support for years.

I can only imagine that MS is doing this on purpose to seperate Windows from macOS to let Windows shine …

It’s really bad practice and hurts your business clients who rely on Microsoft Remote Desktop and Macs for their work…

I noticed my Mac OS client now connects to Windows 365 using WebSockets, where as it used to be TCP. This does seem to be better (29ms latency to W365)

I would also like UDP support though as on a physical Windows machine things run way better.

If I RDP in from my Surface Pro 9, over UDP I get much lower latency.

Even on my Mac, if I run Windows 11 in a VM, over UDP still looking at 20-29ms, so not sure if it's something to do with Macs default networking setup
