Keyboard mapping with Android Rd Client

Using Rd Client on my Samsung S22 Ultra, the keyboard and mouse do not seem to function as I would expect. 

Example;

1. In some apps the ESC key does not work. 

2. When I remote into my desktop at home, I cannot use simple keys for actions. One program I notice in the extreme is when I am remote and using Sketchup, I cannot select any single key to select that function. Like pressing "M" for the move, or "O" for the orbit function. 

I'm not sure if this an Android Issue or a Rd Client issue. So I thought I would bring it to you guys and gals and others.
