I have gone to the help page for the connection error. I have addressed each item and still cannot connect remotely using VPN. I am able to connect to the virtual client while on the company intranet... Error code 0x204. I trashed the temporary file and I turned off the virus protection. I am assured by IT that the appropriate boxes are checked on tn the virtual clinent and the firewall is set properly... I don't understand why the connection cannot be made by VPN and it IS made when on the intranet.
