It’s not you, it’s Windows Server 2012 R2 being too old.
The Mac Windows App printing fixes work for Windows 10/11, but 2012 R2 is basically left behind. There’s probably no real fix coming. Workarounds are network-adding the printer on the server, printing to PDF, or RDP’ing from a Windows PC instead.
