This is no doubt a waste of my time but here we go...
RDP app on Android used to be great. Lately, it's started locking up and the remote computer becomes unresponsive. A short while later a orange circular icon comes up in the middle of the screen like its trying to reconnect. You can close the app, then reopen it and you get the same connection screen. The only way to reset it is to go to background apps and force stop it. Then you can open RDP session and continue as normal - until it locks up 5 to 60seconds later. Then you have to repeat the process of manually stopping the background task.
I have tried clearing cache on my local device (samsung s8+ tablet) and I have tried this on both LAN and remotely through VPN - same result.
The feedback in the app store is full of people with the same issue, what gives? Is there a plan to get this fixed?
