Allow vm console connection on mac os client

I want to be able to connect console sessions on a hyper-v server from the mac os remote desktop client. It works on the windows rdp client but not the mac. Like this - https://thunderysteak.github.io/hyperv-direct-vm-rdp

Does PowerShell on macOS Support this? I have always found PowerShell on macOS to be a shadow of what it is on Windows, more or less it's just a tool to interface with Entra and M365 admin consoles in my experience. Have you tried using SSH from macOS's Terminal to the server?
