Configuring Remote Desktop connection requires userid/password. I need the ability to get to the Windows login screen to select a 2FA method. This fails now because the client requires userid/password. On the windows client, you can configure the connection without credentials. This should be available on the Mac client as well.

That’s interesting because Microsoft says the Mac Remote Desktop client does not allow you to connect without supplying credentials which is why I added this request. You can configure it with saved credentials so it doesn’t prompt you but you’re still supplying credentials. VNC allows you to connect without supplying any credentials.
I have no idea what my password is. I have not used it for years. I have not even been prompted for it, until today.
