I really hope this works as advertised. I'd probably do a little additional prep work, such as disabling any AppLocker policies and removing 3rd-party malware/behavior anomaly detection products.

    I encourage Windows Server customers to try and test Feature Update (In-place OS Upgrade) by using scratch or lab machines (or VMs). We have been testing these features internally, and external feedback so far has been positive. While there are some edge-cases, and while it is not 100% perfect, I'm confident that Feature Update is a viable option for most Windows Server customers.
