Will you be adding the option to host a winget server as a role or feature?

MicrosoftIt already in Windows Server 2025 and you can test it in the Windows Server Insider builds. Simply open terminal and type winget!
- John, do I understand correctly about winget "server" to host own repositories?
- Karl, That is correct. Jeff, We want to host our own local repositories on Windows Server and currently there is no good way to do this. We are wondering if Windows Server 2025 will have the pre-packaged ability to host the repositories.

please create a PR on winget github, if nothing like that exist already I will support it.
Currently there is just this approach, but I would say it is not very attractive for on-prem customers.
