When performing in place upgrades, is it possible to upgrade / downgrade the type of server installed (Standard, Datacenter, Essentials etc)? This is assuming we have the appropriate licenses.

Hi Anthony, In general, you can "up" in editions but not down. To go down would be new install, not upgrade.
