How about converting ESX hosts to HyperV hosts and becoming a HyperV shop?

Mar 28, 2024The Azure Migrate tool can migrate VMware VMs to Azure today. Support for migrating to Azure Stack HCI is in private preview and will be going to public preview soon. If you're looking to convert from VMware to Windows Server with Hyper-V, use System Center Virtual Machine Manager. You can download System Center from the Evaluation Center. These are full featured 180-day evaluation (free). You can use SCVMM to move VMware VMs during the eval period. - ms_edrusiApr 04, 2024Brass ContributorThank you, Jeff. I had not watched the full video when I posted my question. An idea for a webinar would be just that, migrate from VMware to Hyper-V with SCVMM if anyone has time. I have been using VMware for the last 15 years, and suspect there is a lot to learn to make the jump and do it well. If someone has been doing HyperV for some time, I would much appreciate the help. Thank you,
