Windows Server 2025 introduced N+4 upgrades, however failover clustering is still stuck at N+1.

 

Any plans to improve this?

    Current plan is for mixed mode cluster support to stay at N-1.  There are significantly more technical complexities to have great version divergence in tightly coupled nodes in a cluster which are active and failing over across them.   -Thanks Elden
