Will the URL changes later this year be applied at the same time in the tenant networks (canonical networks) as well as the external networks? Will redirects work in both types of networks for an indefinite time? Also links to posts that were manually shared (copy and paste) across the 2 network types in posts?

We don't know exactly but will be following up specifically about the external networks. Once the tenant networks are switched over the external networks would likely follow, more details to come. The team references this question around the 22:00 min mark in the video.
