Our org deployed a company-wide Team (with about 10 channels so far, everyone in the company is a member of this team and all of its channels) as the central communication mode. I'd love to see more resources for adopting Viva Engage when the workforce is already heavily invested in the org-wide Team structure. Need more evidence and case studies that show the benefits gained from moving org-wide conversations to Viva Engage and away from Teams.

Feb 23, 2023Hey Tara, Viva Engage and Teams are complimentary, and work well when integrated or used together.
Here are some blogs that include ways that you can think about using Engage inside of Teams. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2020/04/20/connect-people-across-entire-organization-through-communities-microsoft-teams/

We think of Teams for core focused work with a defined set of people, whereas Viva Engage is perfect for broader, public conversations, questions, events, and threads where numerous people will be interested and/or weigh in. When using Engage in Teams... you get the added benefit of blended notifications and a single pane of glass.
