The announcements mentioned that there are UI/UX changes coming to Viva Engage on the Web. I implore the team to not wreck the current model of interacting with communities that we enjoy on Yammer web and which is significantly more difficult in Viva Engage within Teams. Or, at the very least, please have the collapsible communities panel opened by default.
I can't agree more. Definitely need more clarity on Yammer web's faith, as removing it might be a wrong turn resulting in a loss of adoption. In my tenant (60k users), Yammer web is heavily used, and Viva Engage app is clearly way less popular since, as mentioned here, the experience is not easy to navigate. Leaving an app solely can be risky, at least as of now, both for users and communicators (we can't filter the feed, and communities, it is crucial for us, not sure how featuring and ACA will work), Yammer might lose its position of being such a fantastic powerful channel
