Thank you all for joining our AMA today! I'll be locking this event to new questions but you should always be able to see all the questions and answers here on this page, so feel free to bookmark. We will also be following up on any existing threads for follow-up questions. If you have more questions, feel free to check out the Microsoft 365 Copilot Discussion Space here on Tech Community and stay tuned for our follow up blog on this AMA! - GullettBrianCopper ContributorWill there be any way to see usage statistics for Copilot, like number of prompts or unique users for a given timeframe? I'd love to have some insight on usage and adoption.

Microsoft
Hey Brian, there will be usage metrics available through the Reports page in the Microsoft 365 admin center - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/activity-reports/microsoft-365-copilot-usage?view=o365-worldwide- EATech245Copper ContributorWhen will these reports be available? Currently I do not see them as an option in the reports center.
- Mihailo_DedicOccasional ReaderHello, I'm new to Copilot and the IT market in general. I'm finishing studies and looking for an AI internship. One friend of mine who is a manager told me that there will be some opportunities in Copilot. He mentioned that it will have something to do with companies migrating to Copilot. I'm not completely sure what, because from what I read here, and watched on Youtube it seems to me that this will be more of a System Administrator job. So, it would be very helpful to me if you know whether there will be any kind of AI job opportunities for beginners in this. Again, I'm new at this so I don't know if this question makes sense at all. Best regards, Mihailo
- Ken EwertFormer EmployeeHi Mihailo... thanks for your question. As with all new and exciting technology waves and inflection points, there will be an uptick in employment opportunities in that space. I would encourage you to keep up with your studies and take any and all opportunities to increase your knowledge and experiences around AI and large language models and the wide range of growing interactions with GPT type experiences. I would also encourage you to look for roles at Microsoft's career site located here : https://careers.microsoft.com/ Best of luck in your job search !
- Jasper VoskuilenIron ContributorBesides permissions, will copilot be able to work with files assigned a user-defined sensitivity label that applies encryption?
- GabeHo
Microsoft
Hey Jasper, it will, assuming the user already has access to that specific file. Copilot will only surface content in responses that the user has access to, and does not change existing permissioning and access.
- Rodrigo Del Rosal AhumadaCopper ContributorWe have noticed that Copilot sometimes try to replace business specific terms related to our company with other similar terms, but when it makes so the response it provides lose sense. Is there any way to train Copilot or manage these terms?
- GullettBrianCopper ContributorI was curious about this as well. Some way to recognize synonyms or acronyms specific to an organization could be helpful.
- James_Bell
Microsoft
Semantic Index for Copilot has an 'Organizational Terms' feature that will learn your organizational jargon and autocorrect it without administrative involvement.
- GullettBrianCopper Contributor
Is there any way for Copilot to recognize specific data sources as authoritative? For example, if there is a SharePoint site containing policy information, can we indicate that content an official in some way to help ensure accuracy in content that may be generated from prompts related to those policies?
- Ken EwertFormer EmployeeThanks for the question Brian... At this time there isn't a way to provide or annotate reputational scoring to certain datasets that would indicate them as being more authoritative than others..
- bettermindsAICopper ContributorIts seems like availabilty questions are being dodged. Can you speak broadly on why this service is not going to have a global roll-out as many of your other services? Our customers in EU are eager to know the outlook. Perhaps we partners can bring a little clarity when we understand the amount of work you have to get it ready for other markets

Microsoft
Hi Danni, Thanks for your question on availability. At this time we're still in Early Access Preview for Microsoft 365 Copilot. We have not shared a date or timeline for general availability. Once more information is available on General Availability, we'll share that more on our roadmap page at www.microsoft365.com/roadmap
- wmadm90Copper ContributorThe documents that live in our 3rd party Document Management System (DMS) would be incredibly valuable to be indexed by CoPilot. We have a graph connector to the DMS so these documents show up in Microsoft Search. Would these be indexed by Copilot also? if not, could they? or will there be another way to add 3rd party data to Copilot in the future?
- GabeHo
Microsoft
Adding on to what Ken said, you can learn more about extending Microsoft 365 Copilot here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/platform/copilot/how-to-extend-copilot#how-to-make-your-graph-connector-work-better-with-copilot - Ken EwertFormer EmployeeThanks for your question.... Once ingested into M365 via the connector, your DMS data will be indexed and available to surface through Copilot based on the same access scopes as you currently find when surfacing them through search today.
- GiorgimCopper ContributorHi, few questions regarding Copilot 365 for MS SharePoint/OneDrive: Will M365 Copilot provide a ChatGPT alike answer based on info found in documents & messages? Or only listing relevant documents? Can you ask M365 Copilot to compare content of multiple documents? Can you ask M365 Copilot to change/update content inside documents?
- GabeHo
Microsoft
Hey Giorgi, thanks for your question! Short answer, yes. Microsoft 365 Copilot will return responses in natural language with responses grounded in documents and tenant data the user already has access to. Important to note that it will only surface content accessible to the user, and does not change permissions and access.- GiorgimCopper ContributorHey Gabe, thanks for the response. Will that have some restrictions on how many documents are included in a given search or can it be on top of the whole SharePoint?
- Rodrigo Del Rosal AhumadaCopper ContributorWe saw in our tenant the capability to "edit with Copilot (preview)" in PowerAutomate is now available. 1) Is there any way to enable the capability just to few pilot users first? > https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/ai-overview?WT.mc_id=ppac_inproduct_settings#disable-copilot-in-power-apps 2) If not possible right now, are you considering as part of the development roadmap?
- GabeHo
Microsoft
Hey Rodrigo, thanks for your feedback. We're definitely exploring what controls can help admins and can more to share in the future.
