- Dean_GrossSilver ContributorPlease work with the M365 Purview team to provide the ability to select the desired sensitive info types in the tenant. In MDC we can choose but in M365 we have to see all 300 which is a big distraction and causes many false positives

- BriJamCopper ContributorIs there support for creating custom data types? What adjustment can be made to adjust the tolerance for false positive results for a given data type? Ex. adding proximity of string to other text. Multiple occurrence of string match versus single occurrence with x characters of other string match?

Hi BriJam, thanks for the question. Purview supports this: Create custom sensitive information types | Microsoft Learn
- akjain1980Occasional ReaderHow to keep cost of using Defender for cloud for Azure file storage account low.. any way to tune it?
- Yura_Lee
Microsoft
Thanks akjain1980. We have the malware scanning capping mechanism you can take advantage of: Malware scanning in Microsoft Defender for Storage - Microsoft Defender for Cloud | Microsoft Learn. We've also published pricing workbooks directly within the MDC portal you can use.
- richardenvCopper ContributorWhen deploying Defender for Containers Vulnerability Assessment, the resources deployed to AWS by Defender for Cloud are not following AWS best practices and creating more recommendations. Is there a solution on the roadmap for this issue?
- Yura_Lee
Microsoft
richardenv Thanks for the question. The latest deployment with MDVM is a Saas model. Thus, it would not trigger those recommendations.
- jmberkCopper ContributorIs there anything on the roadmap to allow the addition of VMware/VCenter into the DFC scope? Having all of our governance and mgmt in one place would be nice which would include sites and co-location DC's currently running VMware. Mainly thinking about having automated deployment of arc and defender similar to how GCP functions today with DFC.
