Currently, you'd need to install an Agent on Windows Devices to use SSE.
For Andoird / iOS I've heard you plan to build it into the Defender for EndPoint => Will that be the plan for Windows Agents as well?
Defender for EndPoint has a Web Content filter but does not do anything like DNS Filtering as far as I know.
Will SSE Internet Access Web Content Filtering Way bring such a functionality and how does it differ from the Defender for EndPoint Web Content Filter?

We do plan to bring Windows agents into the Windows OS In future (post-GA). RE: the filtering functionality, there are a few key differences--1. Defender for Endpoint provides on-device, per-device filtering while SSE provides cloud-based, user/context aware filtering. 2. SSE Internet Access will provide more advanced features such as TLS Termination, etc. that we do not currently provide on the device. 3. SSE Internet Access will acquire and filter based on all device traffic (not just web traffic). - Char_CheesmanDec 06, 2023Bronze Contributor
