I like the features that you've been rolling out. The one thing that is concerning me and my clients the most is the eventual replacement of syncing with shortcuts. My clients are syncing thousands and thousands of files in some cases. If that feature goes away at some point in the future, the changeover is going to be incredibly painful for them we live and they work in an area that is geographically dispersed, and does not always have Internet connectivity for example when they are on ferries. The ability to work off-line is required here at some points in time, and usually frequently during the week when they are in the field..
will you also have the ability to have bulk renaming or bulk comments on photos in the gallery?

I hear you and I totally agree that working offline is required. The OneDrive Sync client will continue to support Offline work, there will be no changes there. Folder shortcuts sync down to File Explorer as long as the Sync client is set up and running. The only difference between shortcuts and previously sync Shared libraries is where they appear in File Explorer, Shortcuts show up within the OneDrive node, whereas the synced Shared Libraries show up as a different folder on the left nav. There will be future investments in this area, but rest assured that offline work will continue to work on whatever method you use for collaborative folders. I hope this helps.
