Microsoft Teams new chat and channels AMA (Ask Microsoft Anything)

A better improvement would be to finally get rid of the reliance on SharePoint...Teams users shouldn't even know that SharePoint is handling the file storage in the background.
This should have been done at the inception of Teams. 

If Teams users never had to "Open in SharePoint" to accomplish certain tasks, this change to putting everything in Chat wouldn't be necessary. 

When will Teams finally have all SharePoint document management functionality within Teams and remove the need to "Open in SharePoint"? Somehow, there still is not feature parity with SharePoint document management.
