DDellis There was a time when the European Union forced Microsoft to make available a Windows N version of Windows that did not have tied to it Microsoft applications such as Internet Explorer, the predecessor of Edge. I am not sure if that is still the case, but if so, by getting that version of Windows, you could probably avoid having Edge installed and then a web search would probably have to use your default browser.

Doug_Robbins_Word_MVP Thanks Doug. I THINK they got around this in Word by making "Web" only one of the search options available. I know I can change the default search engine in Edge, but I haven't found a way to simply add "Search Google" when right-clicking highlighted text in Word 365.
Thanks again for your input.
